Contributing

We welcome any form of contribution.

Please read and follow the guides below to help not only us but also you to get more efficient.

Most contributions require you to agree to a Contributor License Agreement (CLA) declaring that you have the right to, and do, grant us the rights to use your contribution. For details, visit https://cla.opensource.microsoft.com.

When you submit a pull request (PR), a CLA bot will automatically determine whether you need to provide a CLA and decorate the PR appropriately (e.g., status check, comment). Simply follow the instructions provided by the bot. You will only need to do this once across all repos using our CLA.

Provide feedback or ask a question

You are welcome to provide any feedback by filing an issue.

When there is any question, please check FAQ and troubleshooting first. If there is no satisfying answer, don’t hesitate to ask us.

Propose or implement a new feature

If you would like to add any additional feature, please file an issue to describe why a feature is needed. Furthermore, if you have a good idea how to implement it, please tell us as well. Once we review and agree on that, follow Contributing fixes or extensions to implement.

Report a bug

Before you report a bug, please search in existing issues first in case similar bugs are in presence. If you do not find a similar bug, feel free to file a new one.

Contributing fixes or extensions

If there is a bug and you want to fix it, feel free to do so by submitting a pull request. We will review it proactively. Once it’s approved, we will merge it.

If you’d like to suggest any extension, please submit a pull request.

Learn more from development guidelines and how to write extensions.
